1. Pizza Day
a. The next Pizza Day will be on Sept. 9th, Friday.
b. Next month's Pizza Day to be held on Sept. 23 and Oct. 14- all payments are due by next Friday, Sept. 16th.
c. There will be a price increase starting next month from 5,000 won to 6,000 won per meal.
2. Bake Sale
a. Bake sale to be held on Thursday, Sept. 22nd @ 2:30pm.
b. PTA will set up tables outside of the playground.
c. All goods to be individually wrapped and delivered to the office.
d. Volunteers for both sales and setup needed for the event- sign up sheet will be sent out via email.
3. Uniform Sales
a. The PTA box is checked every Tuesday and Thursday for orders.  Orders are filled within two working days.
4. After School Activities
a. Number of children enrolled thus far- 47.
b. Tae Kwon Do class may be added in the near future.
5. Book Fair
a. Book Fair to be held on October 26th or 27th.
b. Books are sold at a 20-30% discount and 10% of sales will go to the school.
c. Volunteers needed for the event.  Volunteer sheet to be sent out via email.
d. PTA will be selling school items such as USB, coffee mugs, and T-shirts.
e. Each class will have a book wish list for donations.
6. Indoor Playground Clean-up
a. Clean-up to be held on Wednesday, Sept 28th @ 9:00am, right after drop-off.
b. Indoor playground to be cleaned periodically throughout the winter season.
c. Volunteers needed- please bring cleaning supplies.
7. Field/ Sports Day
a. Sports Day to be held on Friday, Sept. 30th- this is a HALF DAY.
b. Children will go to Seoul Forest, if weather permits.
c. All children should wear their PE uniforms.
d. Lunch will be provided by the school, but parents should pack a morning snack.
e. Caterpillar class will possibly join this year.
8. Room Mom Responsibilities
a. Email has been sent out to room moms by Ms. Fraser outlining responsibilities.
b. Class Fund is limited to 50,000 won per student, which will be used for teacher gifts, holiday costumes and student treats.
9. Indoor Playground Rental
a. The indoor playground upstairs may be rented after 3pm- on full days only- for the amount of 50,000 won.
b. Rental time is limited to 2.5 hours- please schedule with Christy Cho at the Admin office.
10. Indoor Fun Day/ Halloween
a. Date: Monday, Oct. 31st- This is a HALF DAY- please pack morning snacks only.
b. All children are welcome to dress up for this day- no scary costumes please!
c. Goodie bags will be provided by the PTA.
11. Principal's Report
a. Red/ Yellow Parking Days- Flyers to be posted around school.
b. After School Activities
i. Parents are to pick up their children at designated dismissal times and drop them off at the lobby.
ii. Coaches will pick up the children at the lobby and take them to their designated rooms.
iii. Children will be dropped off at the lobby after the activity is over.
12. General Announcements
a. Next PTA meeting will be held on Wednesday, Oct 12, after fall break.
b. There will be NO SCHOOL from Sept. 11-13 due to Chusok Holiday.
c. There will be NO SCHOOL from Oct. 3-7 due to fall break and Foundation Day.
d. School picture day will be held on Oct. 14th.
13. Treasurer's Report
a. Income derived from uniform sales, Pizza day, After school activities, USB sales, and indoor playground rental.
b. Expenses were for pizza day (pizza, juice, and fruit), Woongjin Coway (air purifiers) and transfer to CD account.
i. CD Account- last year's funds were deposited into a CD account yielding 3.65% interest for 6 months.
