Principal’s Letter
Dear Parents,
Along with this month’s newsletter you will find the calendar and Schedule of fees for the next 2012-2013 school year.
There are several factors involved when preparing the school calendar. I do my best to take everyone’s requests into consideration however I cannot listen to everyone’s request. During the February PTA meeting a draft calendar was presented to the members and upon parent input amendments were made.
On the schedule of fees you will note that final payment is due before or on June 1st. We have limited space in classes and an extensive waiting list for the next school year. In order to get an accurate class list for next school year we must have all payments in by June 1st. Students who fail to make payment by June 1st will not be guaranteed enrollment.

Important Dates to Remeber
PTA Market Day Saturday, March 3rd
Come join us 8:30 a.m. to 12 to shop, bid and jump in the bouncy house!
PTA Meeting Tuesday, March 6th Please come and join the PTA for the monthly meeting. We will be wrapping up the details from Market day.
2012-2013
School Year & Summer School Interest Survey
Thursday, March 8th
We kindly ask you to return the interest surveys for the next 2012-2013 school year and summer school.
Summer school will only be offered if we have enough interest.
K.O.R.C.O.S. (No school for Students) Friday, March 9th
All FFK teachers will be away from school this day to attend the annual Korean Overseas School’s Conference in Seoul. There will be no school this day for students.
Pizza Day Friday, March 16th
If you have paid for your child to participate in Pizza day please do not pack a lunch for this day.
Parent/Teacher Conferences Friday, March 23rd
Parent/Teacher conferences will be held this day. Further information and schedules will be proved as the date approaches.
March Assembly /Birthdays Friday, March 30th
Each class will prepare a short song as in previous assemblies. We will also be celebrating all the March birthdays in the classrooms following the assembly. Please check the birthday calendar to see all the children with a March birthday to coordinate a celebration.
