March 23rd 2012

Dear Rabbit Class Parents,

Here are this week’s notices and news:

  • Parent teacher meetings have been underway since last week. Thank you very much for your time if we have already met to discuss your child’s progress. If you would still like to schedule a meeting with me, please let me know. I am available in the mornings from 8am until the children arrive to school and until 4pm after school. Let me know which day is most suitable for you and we can arrange a meeting.
  • Again, the children were excellent telling us about their things they brought to school on Tuesday for show and tell. Mrs. Flores and I are encouraging the children to ask their classmates questions about their items they bring to school. This might be something you can practice at home by demonstrating or giving examples. Thank you for your help and encouragement!
  • After this coming week, we will have covered all the letters of the alphabet, numbers 1-10, colors and shapes. We will continue to practice every day to ensure the children continue to make progress and are ready for the next school year!
  • We are planning to take two field trips in April. We would like to revisit the Children’s Library as it was very enjoyable and one other place. I will keep you posted!

Have a great long weekend and see you on Monday!

Sincerely,

Ms Áine and Mrs Flores
