Dear Parents,

 
Yesterday I sent a letter that mentioned that rain was forecast for today and that I would wait until Friday morning before making a final decision.  However I did not foresee such heavy rain and I have checked the hourly weather forecast for the rest of today. It is forecast to continue to rain until midnight tonight and to be cloudy early tomorrow morning.  I cannot therefore foresee the ground drying out sufficiently for Sports Day on Friday morning.
 
It is therefore with regret, that I have taken the decision to cancel Sports day this year.  Staff have already prepared to send yellow bags home today and so we will go ahead and send  yellow bag and October Newsletters home today.
 
We have already ordered the Children's meals from Burger King (Chicken nuggets, fries and orange juice) so they will be delivered to the school instead of Seoul Forest. You therefore do not need not send lunch for tomorrow (unless your child is vegetarian or has other dietary restrictions).  Please send snack as usual.
 
Tomorrow will be a normal school day with pick up time as usual from 2.50 until 3.00 at the school.
 
Hopefully the children can enjoy Seoul's great outdoors in Class Field Trips with better weather in the upcoming months.
