PTA EVENTS

1. NOVELTY DAY- Friday, May 4
 a. PTA will pay directly for bouncy house (KRW 350,000) and characters (KRW 200,000) after Principal Rosa sets up.

 

2. BAKE SALE- Friday, May 11
 a. Coordinator- Dory Caplan.
 b. Coordination required for obtaining set-up, clean-up, helpers during the bake sale, and obtaining a "change bag" beforehand.
 c. NO juice boxes needed.
 d. Table cloths and chalk boards already available with PTA items.

 

3. END-OF-YEAR PARTY- Saturday, May 26 (tentatively from 11am to 2pm)
 a. Coordinators will be Ryanghee Kim, Juyoung Kim, Kathy Paik and Laura Larkin.
 b. Price to possibly be KRW 15,000 which will include a PTA gift (goody bag). 
 c. There will be a bouncy house, balloon maker, grill, and face painting during the event.
 d. Principal Rosa is working with the church to determine what areas can be used for the party.

 

4. PTA OFFICERS-
 - Current Treasurer (Kathy Paik), After school coordinator (Ryanghee), and VP (Juyoung) will hold current positions until August.

 

5. GRADUATION ALBUM-
 a. FFK currently has a photographer to take school graduation pictures for the yearbook.
 b. Album will be separate price for KRW 60,000.

 

6. ROOFTOP PLAYGROUND-
 a. School will pay for flooring and PTA will pay for fixtures (about KRW 8M and higher).  Principal Rosa will work to get contractor estimates.
 b. Half of the playground will have the fixture while the remaining half will be open space with bikes, trucks, and/ or hopscotch painted on floor.  Pool will remain.
 c. School hopes for construction of the playground to begin upon completion of the current school year.

1. SPRING BREAK- April 6-13

 

2. HALF DAYS-
 a. International Day- Friday, April 27
  - There will be an assembly and potluck on this day.

 b. Novelty Day- Friday, May 4
  - There will be cotton candy and popcorn machines, a bouncy house, and characters.  PTA may volunteer to help making popcorn.

 

TREASURER'S REPORT-
 a. Income for March were from Movie night and After school activities.
 b. Expenses were mainly from after school rental (classrooms), after school instructor fees, and Pizza day expenses (pizza, juice, and fruit).
